Delicious is a social bookmarking site that allows you to bookmark websites, retrieve those websites from any computer, and share your bookmarked sites with others. In addition, you can organize the sites that you bookmark by tagging them. (You haven’t forgotten tagging already, have you?)
Let’s let Common Craft explain social bookmarking:
Social Bookmarking in Plain English
For Thing 9, go to the Delicious website at http://www.delicious.com/, and set up your own Delicious account. Performing registration steps 2 (Add Buttons) and 3 (importing bookmarks) are not required, but are strongly recommended for this Thing. After you register, add at least three bookmarks to your Delicious account by clicking on “Save a new bookmark.”
Please make a post on your blog about your experiences with Delicious. Post a link to your Delicious page within your blog post. How can librarians use social bookmarking? Do you have any thoughts on the Common Craft video?

Posting a quick comment on social bookmarking: I think it is especially a handy tool for users who utilize multiple computers. Delicous makes it easy to bookmark sites and access them from any computer.
