Our hope is that by now you’re familiar with the sorts of things that constitute social media and you’ve become comfortable playing with new toys.  So, this week you’re going to find and play with a social media of YOUR choice.

In your blog, write about the tool you used.  Answer the basic reporter questions (who, what, where, when, why, how) so that your followers can learn from you.

Not sure how to get started?  SEOmoz.org gives annual awards to web 2.0 sites in a number of categories.  Also the Library 101 Project started by David Lee King and Michael Porter offers 101 Resources and Things to Know (and you thought 23 was a lot).  Look at the  Present and Future RTKs (scroll to the bottom of the page for an enumerated list).

Bonus points if you can link your social media to the world of librarianship!
